I got involved in this event through a wonderful lady called Sara asking for volunteers on FB to take part in the Stratford triathlon in memory of her friend Helen Pote who had recently passed away. I volunteered to do the swim in a relay. I'm not brave enough to do the full triathlon, but just to be part of this amazing group of 200 people (yes that's how much it has grown!) is brilliant and all the money I raise goes towards the total as a whole group. Please spare whatever you can to help us beat this terrible disease. I too have lost family and friends to this dreadful disease, but the funds we all raise are making a difference and more people are surviving cancer. Thank you once again for helping me raise funds. We hope to smash a team total of over £30,000. (Yes! £30,000) With your help I'm sure we can!
