We support affected individuals & families to raise awareness of rare conditions.

Story

Being a family who suffer with a rare genetic illness, we are very fortunate to have the support of The MPS Society.  This charity not only provides support for patients and families, it also provides funds for research, which include early diagnosis in babies and children, new treatments, healthcare professionals and so much more.

The MPS Society is the only registered UK charity providing professional support to those affected by MPS and related diseases throughout the UK.

My mum, son and I all suffer with a rare genetic illness called Fabry Disease.  Although there is no cure, we all receive lifelong medication to minimise symptoms and improve our quality of life.

On 21 & 22 September 2019, along with 11 amazing friends, I will be cycling The Loire Valley in France.  We will cycle 100 miles over two days to raise as much funds as possible.

The cycle itself will be physically and mentally challenging, but I know we'll do it and have some laughs along the way.

All participants are self funding this event to ensure all donations raised go straight to the charity, which is fantastic.

We have already started training and I will post updates as we go.

All donations, however small, will be gratefully received.

Thanks for reading.
