Martin was a close best  friend who sadly took his own life in August 2016 😢

 He Struggled with  mental health & PTSD & Depression upon leaving the Army & called it the Black Dog 

Martin served for 24 years in the RMP & Intelligence Corp & toured all over the world .

He spoke of his Army days & his mates with huge passion  it was a huge void in his life to leave & move on into civilian life .

He supported Help for Heroes charity but never asked them for help he felt there was others more in need than himself. He was so wrong on this 

Since his death I have been supporting the charity close to his heart  which was Help for Heroes charity.

I have been a fundraising volunteer for over 4 years now to help raise awareness & fundraisie  to help others  have the courage to ask for help 

Everything for the charity i do is  always with him in mind .I have met many veterans on the road to recovery & can see the real difference the charity makes in support of our armed forces and Veteran's Lives and their families as it effects everyone .

Help for Heroes charity offers  supports to the whole family 

I am setting up this JGP with  Martin in mind who is my inspiration to try to help others 

A life lost is one to many 😪

He was our Hero ❤ no matter what 

Its ok to be not ok & there is help out there & courage is taking that first step on the road to recovery
