The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.

Story

I'm doing two half marathons this year. In September i'll be doing the Great North Run, and then in October i'm tackling the Stroud Half Marathon. I'm running for Guide Dogs for the Blind.

I'm aiming to break 1.45 hours for each race, which would be a personal best and means i need to improve my current pace in my running by about 15-20% (as at early July). To follow my training progress please click here http://runkeeper.com/user/julianwells

Thanks in advance for your support - it is much appreciated.
