We fund lifesaving research to tackle heart and circulatory diseases

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. A few months ago I took the decision to run the Berlin Marathon in September 2011 to raise money for the British Heart Foundation (BHF). The BHF are dedicted to furthering research into Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) and to providing care for suffers. CHD is responsible for over 25% of premature deaths in the UK, and few of us are lucky enough not to know someone who has been affected by a heart attack or stroke. Both my Grandfathers died in their mid-50s of heart failure, and my Uncle died of the same thing in his mid-40s, so it is a cause close to my heart (no pun intended!).

I would be really grateful for any donation (however small) that you can make to help the BHF continue their good work, and will do my best to justify your hard earned donations by completing the marathon in less than 4 hours.

Thank you so much in advance,

Julian
