Finished the walk! 12 hours and 22 miles + 2 blisters. Thanks for support.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 1st July 1916, the British Army had its worst day in history, suffering 60,000 casualties. Throughout the night of 30th June to 1st July this year , 2011, we are walking the entire 21 miles of the battle front that was the Somme in 1916. We hope to raise some money while we walk overnight for several charities.

British Soldiers of today still face hardship, injury or worse on our behalf. The Royal Anglian Regiment (my old TA unit) Benevelont Fund raises money for soldiers, families and dependants from this region to help them when in distress, hardship or after injury.

Please dig deep and donate now. Thanks, Julian
