Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Due to the passing away of Julian Page we thought it’d be a great opportunity to start raising money for a charity very close to his heart. Julian was always such an avid fundraiser

As many of you will know Julian was diagnosed with having type 2 diabetes back in 2015. However after experiencing dramatic weight loss and still struggling to manage with his diabetes. He was actually diagnosed as being type 1 diabetic in 2017. Being insulin dependent 4 times a day Julian found this life adjustment really hard. Through the lack of knowledge of diabetes he explored different avenues on how he can understand and try and manage his diabetes better, by attending different course and of course making friends along the way. He still suffered on and off for a few years trying to manage his diabetes as a result of this it greatly affected his mental health

Unfortunately Julian’s diabetes was a contributing factor to his passing. In his memory we would like to raise as much money as we can for Diabetes Uk to help raise awareness and knowledge around this debilitating disease.

His 3 Page girls would like to take this opportunity to thank those who have reached out to us during this difficult time.

Let’s keep the memory and legacy of Julian Page alive, and raise all we can for Diabetes Uk
