Story
On October 2nd I will be running the London Marathon for the Charlie Waller Trust. Almost exactly a year ago I signed up to the 2021 London marathon. 12 months and a COVID postponement later and we're 2 months out from the run.
Despite having done some running in that time and even being pressured into running the Kingston Marathon by my housemate (you know who you are) I consider myself very much an amateur in the running game (see page cover photo of Kingston aftermath). However, unlike last time where I was quite frankly so unprepared I thought it unfair to ask family and friends to donate any money, this time I am delighted to be able to be raising money for The Charlie Waller Trust.
The trust are tireless in their work to help young people understand their own mental health as well as providing the support, confidence and skills to look after it. As well as being a cause that I am personally passionate about, Charlie and the Waller family are close friends of my parents who have both supported the Trust in various ways in the past. All in all, the charity really does provide fantastic help to young people across the country and is a cause that I am truly proud to be supporting.
Thank you all for reading my page, any donations, large or small are greatly appreciated and will help to reach my goal of £4,000 which will enable the trust to continue their already fantastic work.
