Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  On Monday 20 May I plan to start from Land's End (bottom south west of the UK) and cycle north for around 1,000 miles (1,600km) to John O'Groats in the top north east of Scotland. Approximately 16-18 days depending on how I hold out!

This is solo and unsupported so carrying my own luggage, and camping when I can (hotels, B&Bs also if weather bad) and I will happily accept offers of lodging from friends or strangers!

All the costs of the trip are borne by me, so ALL donations go straight to Parkinson's UK ( please choose Gift Aid option if you qualify)

Parkinson's UK is close to my heart, and they do a great job in research to improve treatment, and in supporting people with Parkinson's.

You can follow my trip here www.acrossbritain.uk

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.
