Four years ago my friend Martin Cole lost his battle with cancer. Martin was quite simply a brilliant man. He loved life, he loved new experiences, and had a huge impact on those people close to him. He is dearly missed by me and everyone who knew him. 

In 2009 I ran the Royal Parks Half Marathon to raise money for the Institute of Cancer Research, and now its about time I dragged myself round again. This time I will be running to raise funds for Cancer Research UK. They are doing brilliant work to fight over 200 cancers. Any donation you can make, no matter how small, will help with the fight.
