Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am doing a charity skydive in memory of and inspired by my sister Donna, who died in January a few weeks after giving birth to her beautiful daughter. I am raisning money for St Georges Hospital, London. The nurses and staff who cared for Donna were true angels and they helped Donna in her fight to stay alive. She came back from the brink more than once and battled so hard but in the end it was too much for her. Her passing has left a huge hole in the lives of her families (Valentines, Bowers-Browns and Conaghans all) and, I know, for many friends. But her humour, love and personality live on in us.
I am honestly very scared about jumping out of a plane! But while I think of the way Donna was in life and in her dying, I know I can do this and help in some small way to lessen the chance of it happening to others and help those wonderful nurses to do their important work. I need to raise over £400 as a minimum and hope we can raise even more in Donna's memory. Please, will you give all you can?
