I live on the route of the GNR and am filled with pride every year when I see the support that the North East gives to runners who travel from all over the world.

I'm always inspired and touched by the fund raising stories that people share and for years I've talked about doing the GNR "one day" 

I'll be 47 this year  so the time has come to just get on with it. My Aunty Barbara did it for the first time in her 50's and Jarra Jim is still doing it in his 90's so i've got no excuses :)
