I'm a stroke survivor and ex runner (10 previous GNRs) now jogger/walker. I'm going to complete the Great North Run one way or another for #TeamStroke! There are over 1.3 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. Your support will help them to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments. I want to thank the Stroke Association for access to their forum where stroke survivors can meet online and support each other.
