The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity - The Marsden March 2012 · 11 March 2012 ·

We fund life-saving research to help cancer patients everywhere.

Story

16 February 2012 marked the first anniversary since Patrick's bone marrow transplant at the Royal Marsden in Sutton.

Since then, and as most of you know, it has been a very rocky path, but through all the trials and tribulations, the one thing we have never had to worry about is the care Patrick has received, and continues to receive, from the Haemato-oncology team at the Royal Marsden.

Thank yous, flowers, chocolates, and cards to the staff at the hospital feel woefully inadequate, so I thought it was time to dust off the walking boots and try and raise some money for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity by joining the Marsden March, a 14 mile walk between the Royal Marsden Fulham and the Royal Marsden Sutton taking place on Sunday 11 March.

Whatever you can donate will be greatly appreciated by myself and Patrick, and will be put to very good use by the Marsden's Cancer Charity.

In case you have not donated via JustGiving before, it is totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

With many thanks,

Julia
