My name is Julia and I am fundraising for WWF as part of the chooseachallenge Kilimanjaro track. 

Mount Kilimanjaro is the world's highest free-standing mountain and a Unesco World Heritage Site. Thus, climbing Mount Kili is a lifelong dream for many. Yet, it is also the epicentre of climate change. In fact, scientists estimate that due to the alarming rate of melting glaciers, the heritage site will have disappeared just by 2033. 

Therefore, I decided that climbing Mount Kili would be more than just a life-changing experience. As part of my trip, I am participating in the chooseachallenge fundraising challenge. All of my fundraising proceeds are 100% donated to WWF - one of the worlds leading environmental organisations which has declared Tanzania as one of its priority areas.
