Story
My daughter found a newborn kitten who was abandoned by its mother. It was cold and hungry, so she and her friend began to care for it. They named her Snickers. Later that evening, they asked for my help and as they brought her to me, I quickly looked up how to hand rear a kitten. I was out of my depth, but muddled through for two days. My daughter asked for help on social media and within a few hours, the Cats Protection came to the rescue. One of their volunteer hand rearers could take her and give her the care she needed to stand any chance of survival. Snickers is now 5 weeks old and is doing really well, thanks to their dedication and care. We have just heard that she will be rehomed to us and we are over the moon!
