Story
Marissa's World began 13 years ago on March 24. Marissa has struggled at times with all pieces Sturge Weber Syndrome.
Today Marissa's determination is what I admire most. We have added technology to her world and most recently a three wheeler bike to keep her safe. Marissa's biggest goal is to be able to ride her bike on the last day of 8th grade with her peers at school. All eighth graders take a ride together to school on the last day. This is a tradition that Marissa would like to be a part of successfully. May is our month of awareness and Marissa has chosen this time to be the best time to start. Marissa's World will take part in the journey below:
