Hello everyone! My name is Julia.
I was told about the organisation called Lepra at school, that not only helps people suffering from leprosy, but also fights against prejudices related to it. These people usually become isolated from the rest of the community and are not treated well because of the infectious disease.

After hearing about the problems that some people face, I have decided to participate in Fulston Manor 'Stayawake' night, which is happening 13th November to help with fundraising. This will be a big challenge for me, considering that I find it extremely hard staying up at least until midnight.

You will be surprised, but only £25 can help to save a life and cure one person from leprosy completely. This amount of money is nothing for most of us, but it is life-changing for those who suffer from leprosy.
