 As you may know, I have been spending most of my free time out running...for miles...and up hills...and really quickly...and in all weathers...and it's not all just an overage of energy, there is a goal in mind.

On March 11 I will be taking part in the Bath Half Marathon.  Along with a few other faces you may know (Ed, Lizbie) we will be raising money for a small but very worthwhile charity known as Golden Oldies.  As you may remember, I have spent parts of my research career working with older adults which has involved visiting people in nursing homes and exploring how quality of life may be improved for people when at, what can be a very difficult end stage of life.  Bringing activity to people, having visitors from outside and engaging in sensory experiences such as mmusic and song may make an enormous difference to someone's life.  Please help us support this very worthwile cause.

Golden-Oldies was launched in Bath in 2008 by Grenville Jones to provide regular fun singing sessions for older people. Please help us to help them!
