Story
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I will be taking part in the Lake District Four Peaks challenge from the 23 – 26 June 2012 to fundraising challenge for Alzheimer’s Society and hope to raise over £450. I have covered all the trip expenses so all of the money you give goes straight to the Society. The challenge will be guided and take on four of England's highest peaks in the three day challenge in the Lake District National Park. We will climb Skiddaw, Scafell Pike, Scarfell and Helvellyn, all of which are over 3,000ft high, to support the 750,000 people in the UK who have a form of dementia.
I decided to take part in this challenge for Alzheimer’s Society because both my grandparents have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s within the last 8 years. I also have very fond memories of times in the Lake District, as it is where my grandparents used to live, and so, to combine it with raising money for something which is close to my heart, I feel just works well.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So please be as lovely & generous as you can and donate now.
Thank you, Jules x
