It was a crazy ideas in 2015 and in spite of the fact that 7000+ people died in Nepal when I was therel, I attempted again to climb Everest in 2016
.......And I hoped it would raise few additional pounds to help the Leukaemia and Lymphoma Cancer Unit at UCLH in London that helped me & my Dad so much with our Lymphoma - he & I are still alive and well 7 years after diagnosis. I have seen first hand what they do and it is truly amazing - people with Leukaemia and Lymphoma no longer die. What I am attempting in summiting Everest is nothing compared to what people go through in Chemo !!
I am delighted to say that I reached the summit of Everest on Friday 13 (yes I know !) May 2016 at 9:49am and it was amasing looking down on Tibet, Nepal and the world.
Please give generously - any contribution is very, very much appreciated
