Story

I work in a school which has a number of students who are young carers for a family member. Caring can be extremely isolating and can take its toll - it can affect all aspects of their childhood. Young carers need support and I want to raise money to help Surrey Young Carers offer real help and understanding.

About the charity

Surrey Young Carers is a service of Action for Carers Surrey. We support young people under 18 who care emotionally or physically for an adult or sibling with a long term illness, disability or drug and alcohol misuse. We offer advocacy, funding and a range of activities and breaks to young carers.
