My dear father Alan Dixon lost his fight with prostate cancer in January .

He was a truly incredible father, grandfather and husband who will be greatly missed.

I have 2 wrecked knees and haven't ran for 4 years but I'm sure my pain will be nothing compared to his so I am going to do the Great North and Great South Run with my husband and 2 of my children in his memory . 

Please if you can spare only £1 help me achieve my £300 goal. This will  raise much needed funds to help prostate cancer uk in research and treatment of other  men who we will undoubtedly loose their lives this year.
