Story
*Update* My lovely big sister Ailsa has been able to grab a London space for MS Trust too, so we are now fundraising together! You get 2 for the price of 1!
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page! Judith & Ailsa x
On 2nd October 2022 We will take part in the London Marathon!
Most will be aware that in 2018 my husband Colin was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at the age of 32. Since his diagnosis we have made use of the materials made available by the MS Trust, particularly when it has come to deciding which is the most appropriate treatment to use, and their resources for kids. Over the past couple of years both Colin and our kids have raised money to support the charity, and I felt now was the time for me to give back to the charity that has helped us so much already. As a keen cyclist it would have been easy for me to do a cycling challenge but I thought that I would enjoy that too much, and so I should do something that would challenge me both physically and mentally!
I am not a ‘keen’ runner, in fact I wouldn’t call myself a runner at all, but I am a determined person so will give it my best. I do have a time goal in mind but I am keeping that one close to my chest as it’s a big enough challenge for me to try and fit in all of the training, let alone announce some crazy finish time that I then have to stick to!
The most important goal for me is to complete the personal challenge and raise awareness and funds for the charity that has already helped us so much, and will continue to do. Any donation that you can make is gratefully received in helping me support the MS Trust.
I have linked up this page to my Strava so you can follow my progress (if you are interested)!
Thanks,
Judith
