Shuktara offers a home for life for young people with disabilities in the Kolkata area with no home of their own. 

We are now embarking on a new project reaching out to isolated rural villages in West Bengal to help support families with children who are challenged with disabilities and no available care. Shuktara will offer their expertise to help make a difference to these children and young people's lives. Shuktara are setting up a support arm that offers medical help including physiotherapy, orthopaedic aids, hearing tests for the deaf alongside general assistance.

During the pandemic, funds have dwindled at Shuktara so they desperately need your help to be able to continue their valuable work.
