Globally, it's estimated that between 10,000 and 100,000 species are becoming extinct every year. There's nothing natural or inevitable about the alarming rate at which we are losing animals and their living landscapes. It is absolutely avoidable. PTES is an international conservation charity, working to protect animals and their habitats.
