I am trying to do a little to help raise funds for my friends 6year old boy Elliot who was diagnosed with Duchennes Muscular Dystrophy in March 2016.

As a paediatric physio i know about this condition and how it can affect a childs body. Now I know more than anyone would  ever want to about its impact on a family, their friends and the little boy in question too. However we all have faith and hope that research will bring us a cure or a treatment to limit the impact of this condition and the only way to do this is to keep the research fully funded!

Elliot is an amazing little boy, walking can be harder work for him than running a marathon would be for us but he doesnt stop! He loves to turn furniture upside down, switch off all the lights you want on and switch on all the ones you want off! My boys like to sing (to the tune of Miley Cyrus) “Elliot came in like a wrecking ball...” when he comes in the room😂!!
