Its a very special weekend for me and the original plan was to run a Marathon from Oldmeldrum to Fonthill Road in Aberdeen, The place of my fathers birth, I was going to do this on the 2nd of October (his Birthday) to be in memory of him.

I mentioned that I planned to run on that weekend to my cousin another keen runner and to my shock she replied, which one are you doing as she was running that weekend too.  Seems like it was fate and the stars aligned to make us both run that race on that weekend.

I couldn't run this without roping in the man who got me into running, so whether he liked it or not, Steve was going to be joining me (let see if we are still pals late afternoon on the 3rd of October)
