A gifted theologian and educator, the late Professor Emeritus Theodore Jennings taught for more than 30 years at CTS. For generations of CTS students, he was an inspiring and passionate teacher. He taught for his students and was always a defender of their dignity and rights. What mattered most to Ted, was giving witness to God's justice and mercy in the world and injustice suffered by God's people. His radical theology was always one of radical hospitality and welcoming of others, especially those who were relegated to the margins of society. Ted was passionate about everything that he did. To all those who knew him, Ted will always be remembered as a friend. It was his way of being in the worldamong friends, eating, drinking, telling stories, and arguing over ideas.
