Story

It's now 5 years ago since my Mum, and Lauren and Dylan's granny passed away.

Carol Reid did not survive 5 years from diagnosis, had we known the symptoms, then who knows, had treatment been different, then who knows

I've been looking for the right opportunity to raise awareness and support for the disease that claimed her life, and i'd hope that through all the countless hours of training, and miles i'm covering this will help raise awareness of the symptoms early enough to ensure treatment is successful.

Ovarian cancer can be devastating. It kills 11 women every single day in the UK and survival rates in the UK are among the worst in Europe. Yet, it faces chronic underfunding compared with other cancers.

Our campaign ‘It’s time to TAKE OVAR’ aims to accelerate change and transform the future of more than 25,000 who are living with the disease and thousands more who will be diagnosed.

Join us to raise awareness, fund research and save lives. Together, we can create a world where no one has to say goodbye too soon to someone they love because of ovarian cancer.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
