32 of us are taking on the National 3 Peaks Challenge to support the NSPCC. We'll climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in just 24 hours! 3,000m vertical ascent over 26 miles. 14 hours of hiking!

Story

On September 16th, 2017 I'll be climbing Scafell Pike, Snowdon and Ben Nevis (the highest mountains in England, Wales and Scotland) in 24 hours... or at least that is the plan!

I will no doubt be exhausted and sleep-deprived but its all in support of NSPCC and I am relying on great team spirit and sheer bloody-mindedness to make up for a lack of fitness.

The NSPCC is the leading children's charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. They help children who have been abused to rebuild their lives, protect those at risk, and find the best ways of preventing abuse from ever happening. Every child deserves the best possible chance to rebuild their life after abuse. That’s why the NSPCC are here. That's what drives all their work. And that’s why – as long as there’s abuse – they will fight for every childhood.

So I am counting on your support and knowing that it is for a very good cause to get me through a tough 24 hours!
