Story
17th February…I was sat with a brew watching my cousins husbands Vlog, from his recent transatlantic rowing record breaking achievement. Decided to take the plunge and sign up for the 140km/1411m elevation Royal British Legion Poppy Cycle ride.
After this event, I plan on riding to my place of work x2…in Nottingham and Sheffield from my home in Cheshire. The latter will go through the Peak District and potentially my demise!
Bravery and stupidity are intrinsically linked….
I’m cycling for the Royal British Legion, who have supported my cousin Anna and her family through one of their most difficult challenges.
They support serving and ex-serving personnel all year round, every day of the week.
That’s the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force, veterans and their families.
Support starts after one day of service and continues through life, long after service is over.
Here’s some detail about Anna, the challenges she now faces, the fund raising she has undertaken and then her husband Scott’s recent World Record Atlantic Ocean rowing achievement!

Whatever you can spare, it would be massively appreciated. Having seen the difference the RBL has made in their lives…more fantastic work can be done for others.
Thanks all ❤️ 🚴
