We research early diagnosis and treatments to beat pancreatic cancer.

Story

We've done it!! 150 miles (240 km) from Whitehaven to Sunderland and we stayed dry all the way! Most people choose this direction as it is known for Easterly winds but this weekend we had a head-on Westerly wind! It added an additional challenge but also kept the sun out in the North of England whilst torrential rain hit the South! Thank you so much to all for your generous donations. We will publish photos, videos and most importantly information of how your donations will be used shortly. ------------------------------------

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

We lost our Mum to pancreatic cancer in February this year.  Although we were lucky enough to say goodbye and make the most of our last months together, this silent and fatal disease took Mum unfairly and so quickly when she still had so much to live for.

To our Mother who did so much for others throughout her life, we want to continue in this tradition and let Mum's memory go on to help others in their fight against pancreatic cancer.

My brother, sister and I with friends are riding the 140 miles coast to coast route from Whitehaven to Sunderland along the Sustrans route - http://www.c2c-guide.co.uk/ from 24th to 27th May 08.

Many thanks for your kind support.

Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund is the only national charity dedicated solely to beating pancreatic cancer through research. Survival rates are low, so new research is vital. In the past, this cancer received little attention. With your help, we can change this so more people beat pancreatic cancer.
