Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Once again I am flattening the roads of South East England training for the Virgin London Marathon! This will be my 4th London Marathon in aid of The Lily Foundation which was set up in memory of my niece Lily Merritt who died at just 8 months old from Mitochondrial Disease.

The charity has raised £500k in five years but desperately needs your help in raising more to fund research into this terrible genetic disease which kills.

It is estimated that 1 in every 200 new borns could carry a defective mitochondria which are the little "power stations" of each cell in the body.

I will be running again with Lily's  inspirational dad Dave and we will also be running the Brighton Half Marathon on Feb 19th as part of our training programme. So you will be sponsoring us for two events ! What a bargain !
