Rob, Matt and the What The Fartlek podcast crew are back and joining seasoned fundraiser (and WTF core team) JP to don the Make-A-Wish®️ UK vest and up the ante with a new fundraising adventure
We have a packed schedule over the coming months.
To start with the boys are taking it back to the 80’s - taking part in Movember but keeping those soup strainers until races in April
Then it’s Alton Towers weekender, 2 races in 2 days as Rob and Matt tackle a hilly 10k and then an even hillier half marathon. back to back.
The lads are then off to Blackburn 10k for a VERY special fancy dress themed race - WATCH THIS SPACE
Then, as we tick into 2023 it’s the main event…
JP turns 40 in January (surprise, right) and he wanted to celebrate with a 4 @ 40 challenge - But he’s not doing it alone, The lads and our entire podcast family will be running with him every step of the way
Matt will be dragging him around Manchester and Rob will be joining him soaking up the sights and sounds of one of the best races in the world in London just 7 days later
Yes, that’s two marathons in two weeks and Manchester is due to be a massive PB attempt so it’s really going to be a test!
Before all of that, Polly will be bringing the glam to the party in London to see some of the main landmarks at the London Landmarks Half Marathon
Plus we have a whole team of superstar pals joining JP, Rob and Matt take on the Sheffield Half Marathon in March. Armagan, Sarah and Lewis will all be flying the Make A Wish flag and helping raise funds!
That’s not to mention the challenges, forfeits, giveaways and fun we will be having along the way!
It’s gonna be massive!
Make-A-Wish®️ UK creates life-changing wishes that revive the childhood that critical illness takes away, bringing light and joy at the darkest of times for a child and their loved ones. But right now, there are 60,000 children in the UK living with a critical condition, and they don’t have the resources to be that light for everyone. Your generous support will help them step closer to achieving their vision: to grant a wish to every eligible child. Together, we have the power to light up the darkness.
