Hi my name is Kai.

I have decided to take part in this fundraising event so I can help a charity, which is very close to my heart, to raise money to find a cure for Type 1 diabetes. 

On the 14th November I will be going to school in my Onsie! I am the only child in the whole school taking part so I will have to be brave!

The reason I have signed up for this fundraising event is because around two years ago I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Having diabetes means that I have to inject up to five times a day and regulary check my blood suger levels by doing a finger prick test.

I hate these painful injections even though I know that I need them to to stay alive.

Your money will be used to help fund research to find a cure for Type 1 diabetes. You can help children like me get one step closer to living our dream of a needle-free life.

This is my first fundraising charity event so please donate generously! :)
