Story

Lucky Number 7

This year I will be taking part in my 7th Great Birmingham Run for UHB Charity!

The hospital charity is wonderful and supports so many people across our community and in so many different ways - it is very close to my heart.

I know at the moment times are very difficult, but if you are able to donate any amount (big or small!) - your generosity can make such a huge difference.

Feel free to come and cheer me on - the race is taking place Sunday 7th May across Birmingham - please don't forget to bring some jelly babies as by mile 10 I will likely need some sugar to see me through to the end!

Thank You!

UHB Charity works across four hospitals - the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, Heartlands Hospital, Good Hope Hospital and Solihull Hospital - to fund cutting edge equipment, world leading research and added extras that change and save lives and improve the hospital experience for the two million patients we treat every year. This year I am taking part in the Birmingham Half Marathon to support my local NHS.

About the charity

University Hospitals Birmingham Charity supports four hospitals in Birmingham - Queen Elizabeth, Heartlands, Good Hope, and Solihull. We support the patients, families and staff at our hospitals by providing 'added extras' that are over and above those which are provided by the NHS.
