Thames Hospice made the worst time just that little bit more bearable so I have decided to tackle a Triathlon to raise money in David's memory. This is a huge challenge for me.

David was much more than a step-dad to me. He was a friend, and he always fought my corner. I wish I had done more to make him proud, and to say thank you to him for everything he did for me. He was there at my lowest ebb, and he never held my mistakes against me, just supported me and helped me go forward.

I'm doing this Triathlon in David's memory, and hope to raise as much as I can so that Thames Hospice can support other families when cancer, COVID, anything, steals their loved ones from them.

Thames Hospice is an incredible charity that helps so many people. Not only those in the final stages of life but also respite for family, and hospice at home support - from which we benefited. We are extremely grateful for the care and compassion we received during David’s last days.
