Thank you for taking the time to visit the Shrimpers Trust JustGiving page in preparation for our forthcoming charity event.

The Trust is pleased to announce that on Saturday 5th October 2019 nine Shrimpers Trust members together with Southend United's Head of Commercial Rhys Ellingham will be putting on their walking boots to trek the 33.4 miles from Roots Hall Stadium to Southend's away game with Gillingham at the Priestfield Stadium ME7, Kent.

Setting off at the ridiculous hour of 11pm on Friday 4^th October we will be walking through the night in order to raise funds for the Trust and Little Havens Hospice.

Through supporter membership and fund raising the Shrimpers Trust provides sponsorship to Southend United’s Youth Academy and will also donate money to support other important causes in and around the
Football Club. We see Southend United as being an important part of the town and surrounding area.

Essex based Little Havens Hospice, provides such valuable care to children and young people aged from birth to 19 years old who have life limiting or life threatening conditions. Through its support groups it also provides essential services to parents and siblings to help them through such difficult times.
Residential and community services extend across the county of Essex, including respite and end-of-life care.

Through the Trust's fund raising efforts we want to contribute to the Hospice's work in enabling them to continue to provide the highest quality palliative care services to those impacted in our local community.

We are aiming to do all we can to make this event a great success and therefore any sponsorship pledge you can make no matter how small will be very welcome, with monies raised to be split 50/50 between the Trust and Little Havens Hospice.

However, all monies donated electronically via this JustGiving page go direct to Little Havens.

If you are a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box when donating as this will increase your donation by at least 25% at no extra cost to you.
