Mongol Rally · 15 July 2017
So as our university adventures come to a close, myself, rob and matt have decided to run away from all responsibilities and take part in the mother of all adventures, the Mongol Rally! Setting of from London, the charity drive will take us across Europe, through the middle east all the way to the finish line in Ulan-Ude, Russia. We will travel 10,000+ miles with only the help of a few maps, a man with a geography degree (rob), fellow headcases (other ralliers) and a few friendly locals. Oh and if this wasn't hard enough, we're going on this incredible adventure across the globe in a little 2005 1.2 Renault Clio! Sounds mad right ? Yeah, we know...
The charity we've chosen to support is Cancer research UK, a charity that works tirelessly in the hopes of one day finding a cure for such a terrible disease. They have managed to save millions of lives already by discovering new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer, with cancer survival having doubled in the last 40 years alone!
We've chosen Cancer Research UK as it is very close to home for us, so please donate what you can and help us reach our goal!
