Story
Edit - I wasn’t able to run the Inverness half as Ross wasn’t well so am now running the Skye half on 11th June.
As I turn 50 in March this year I am going to be running the Inverness half Marathon on the 13th of March to raise money for Cancer Research Uk.
Just like many other families, my family has suffered the devastating effect of losing loved ones to cancer. My lovely mum was only 59 when she lost her battle and just over 6years ago we were again devastated when we lost my sister in law, Mairi. My brother Kenny has spent his entire career working as a research scientist for cancer research. He is a cancer survivor himself and will be retiring this year. I am very proud of Kenny and can’t think of a better cause to support as I run my first marathon.
