As most of you who know our family, know how close to our hearts this charity is. It doesn’t just affect the person it affects the whole family. My beloved granny had dementia for nearly 10 years, and to watch your loved one loose bits of themselves and deteriorate in front of you is so difficult, but at same time we were very lucky she knew her close family till the very end. 

My granny was a retired nurse, always helping other people and her family. From we lost granny 3 years ago this June ,I have spoke about doing memory walk but couldn’t face it, so this is our way of giving back just like she would’ve done. My uncle Stephen, myself and few family members are starting off on 4th March to do glow up memory walk in Belfast  and on grannies 3rd anniversary 14th June we are going to do the stairway to heaven walk aswell.
