I am walking the 54km in aid of Cancer Research - when I first saw the challenge advertised I thought, yes I can do that, I want to be able to raise money to make a difference to peoples lives. I thought it would be a challenge so talked Paula then, Erica and Sophia into joining me. Well I can tell you now it will not be easy! 54 km (33.3 miles) is a long long way to walk and will take about 11 -15 hours to complete. The thing that will keep me going, is the fact that, thank goodness, I am fit and well enough to take part, whilst thinking of the people that Cancer has taken too young and the families affected. Cancer Research needs funds to help and provide hope for others in the future.
