Crossroads is an Isle of Man based charity that provides support to local carers and people with care needs no matter their disability, age or illness. Our services are about improving the lives by giving them time to themselves to have a break from their caring responsibilities.

Story

My Nanna Christine works with Young carers. With Crossroads they get to do lots of fun stuff that other kids like me and my friends can do with our families. Sometimes it isn’t possible for young carers to do all that regular stuff because they have to much going on at home or it’s too difficult for their family. I think all kids should get to do cool stuff now and then or hang out with other kids so I would like to raise some money to help that happen.

I love going on bike rides with my grandad. I used to be really nervous because I had a bad bike accident a few years ago and really hurt my face. It’s like one of my favourite things now though so that’s why I want to do a bike riding challenge. I think it might be tough because 100 lengths of the road behind my house is 22 miles altogether and half of it is uphill but at least I’ll get a rest each time I ride back down! At least no traffic comes up or down that road so it will be totally safe too.

Please sponsor me if you can and thank you very very much.
