Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Sunday 21st April 2024 I will be running the London Marathon for Epilepsy Action, in memory of my little brother Joey 💜

We lost Joey 6 years ago from SUDEP - Sudden unexpected Death in Epilepsy. I can’t you how hard it’s been in that time but I’ve felt so fortunate to have so many people support me and my family over the years.

Joey had Epilepsy from 15 until his death, aged 22. I saw how much of a struggle it was for him growing up with it and also the people around him who didn’t know how to deal with him having a seizure. Me included.

By doing this Marathon I hope to raise awareness of epilepsy and also help provide funds for Epilepsy Action and all the good work that they do.

Epilepsy Action is the UK’s biggest community of people who want a better future for people affected by epilepsy. We want freedom from seizures and the best possible life for everyone living with the condition. If this sounds like your idea of a better world, join us today in making it happen.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
