Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Mental health is something very close to my heart, over the years I have lost a number of friends due to poor mental health and battled myself especially after my exit from military service.. I’m completing the 100 miles in memory of those who have lost the battle and for those who continue to battle daily.
In 2019 I completed Buxton half marathon to raise funds for MentalHealth U.K. It was my intention to complete a half marathon in June 2020 to raise further funds.
Due to unforeseen circumstances this is no longer possible (Covid-19). This challenge will consist of a number of runs free weight, as well as weighted walks carrying 15kg (if necessary to reduce impact)
I am currently employed by the NHS in the Mental health sector and will be completing this at various times after completion of my shifts. All mileage/routes will be recorded on my Garmin Forerunner 235 for accuracy. I will live stream where possible during the challenge.
Together we can make a difference, I hope you will support me in reaching my target. Thanks for taking the time to read.
If anyone would like to join me in completing 100 miles in June that will be welcomed also. Thanks people.
