As for me ...
Safe to say the past year(s) have been turbulent health and fitness wise.
Hernia operations, tearing ligaments in both ankles, and a trapped nerve which may or may not be the underlying cause of all my grief.
Well, the physio has given the all-clear, and it's time to get back on the ol' horse! I may not be hitting sub 20 min 5k's and 17+ miles but I'm sure I can manage Cardiff's half marathon, especially as it is for a good cause.
The glankles (glass ankles) are going to have to work hard to get me around the course but I couldn't go ending my Cardiff half streak after just 5 years.
I know for many of you, this isn't the first time you have supported me, and for that, I am grateful, if anyone reading has a little extra cash spare, know you have my gratitude, and if you see me hobbling about Cardiff, come say hi or even join me!
Thanks again!
