Story

Hi, I'm Josh and I'm a recovering addict, I will be participating in the 2022 London Marathon to show my support for Action on addiction and the forward trust. Addiction is something that's always been present within myself and my family, from losing my mum at a very early age due to alcoholism, to witnessing my dad go through his own battle's with addiction, and more recently his journey in recovery.

In my 20's my own battle with addiction began to manifest and the disease of addiction took a hold, bringing me to my knee's very quickly, If it wasn't for the support of my family/friends along side my fellow addicts within recovery I wouldn't be here today.

I have now been clean and sober for over 2 1/2 years, and I have developed a love for running. So I thought what better way to bring the two together, by raising both awareness and giving back to those who are still suffering with the misery and pain of addiction.

Please donate to contribute to helping more Addicts recover!
