Hi, my name is Joshua Scott-Hill and I am 11 years old.

I am a pupil of Halfway Primary School Llanelli. I have been growing my hair since January 2016 and this is my story so far....

I decided to grow my hair long and have it cut for 'The Little Princess Trust'. It needs to be at least 7" long before they are able to cut it and make it into wigs for children who have sadly lost their hair to cancer treatment and other illnesses. I was inspired by a family friend who had lost her hair through chemotherapy. This would help people who aren't as lucky as me to have real hair during their treatment across the UK and Ireland.

During the time I have been growing my hair I have been teased and mistaken for a girl so many times I've lost count. There was only one time I got really upset, but luckily my friends are very supportive as are my family and it means a lot to me to raise this money for Maggie's via sponsorship. I am happy to be helping two charities.

Maggie's depends entirely on donations and do amazing work to help support cancer sufferers and their family and friends. (Maggie's is open for anyone with cancer at any stage of their experience and for their family and friends. So anyone who had been affected by cancer can find a sanctuary when they need it most).

Please help me support these charities which are very close to my heart. It would mean the world if I could reach my target :)
