Story
2022 was another tough year for the small local charity after just managing to get by in 2020 and 2021 with covid and lockdown.
Unfortunately, rising energy prices and a number of other factors has put a strain on the charity's finances, which are all self funded, as they receive no funding from any level of government or organisation.
The people that rely on the charity weekly have all made efforts to help with funding, but this only goes so far when costs keep rising and so, this is a major fundraising effort to make sure the charity's lights and heating stay on this year for the people who need their services.
That's why I will be running the Manchester Marathon on the 16th April AND London Marathon a week later on 23 April.
Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated!
